Alice and Farley’s Litter

We had hoped for a decent size litter. Unfortunately we only had 3 girls from Alice and Farley. They were born via cesarian on May 29. After waiting a few days after her expected delivery date we finally took her in to have the puppies taken out. Below will be their weekly updates.

Week 1 Update

The puppies have grown. Their nose have gotten darker. Alice is being a great mom. She rarely leaves their side.

Week 3 Update

This week is their biggest week so far. They are wagging their tails in enjoyment. They are walking and running around their pen. We’ve been taking them out to see the rest of the pack. Their howls are becoming even more distinct and they howl at each other in unison. They are now playing with each other as well.

Week 4 Update

This week their teeth have grown in enough, and interested enough, they began eating food for the first time. They are beginning to play more

Week 5 Update

This week they got lots of pay time outside of their puppy room. They love to explore and play. Their coats are coming in thicker.

Week 6 Update

Their individual personalities are showing. More playtime and different experiences. We’ve introduced them to baths, people, and more time around the adult dogs. They got a bath this week, so they are clean. The past few weeks we have concentrated more on videos than photos. We finally got a good photo of them this week.

Week 7 Update

This week they finally got to go outside. They are becoming very active. Also they did get their 5 in 1 vaccine.

Week 8 Update

This week they are of age to go home. They have been exploring outside more and more. They are a nice size. They have been dewormed. This week they have also been able to play with the adults much more. Even Glacier was submitting to them to play with. That was a nice sight. This week we did do another group shot with the travel theme we used at week 6. At their vet checkup they didn’t get carsick. This is one of the few litters that we’ve had that hasn’t got carsick.
