As humans, most try to maintain the best health possible. We visit the doctor proactively to prevent the onset of illnesses. We take medications for the illnesses we have. If we care for our pets just as much as ourselves, then we should also take them to the veterinarian for regular checkups. Just like we take our children to get their shots and yearly checkups, we should also take our pets.

Today Alice went to a veterinarian in Hemet California to get a puppy well check. She weighed in at 5.6 pounds. Everything looks good. She has lots of energy. Since we were there we also got Tina her rabies shot. She hadn’t received it while she was in Bulgaria. We just gave her a 5 in 1 DHPP vaccine the week prior. She is now up to date on her vaccines as well.

We have been training Tina a lot in the last week, but she was scared at the vet, so that went out the window. She didn’t want to sit. We did finally get her to sit for a photo. Here is a photo of the two of them together on the scale.
