Puppies Are One Month Old

Puppies’ Fourth Week of Life

This week the puppies have increased their play area. As they have excelled at learning to walk they have been introduced to more of their puppy room. They’ve have now been introduced to multiple textures, material, tile, and astroturf. We’ve added the astroturf to their room to start potty training them. Early in the week we started them on their first solid foods. They still prefer milk over their food at this point. Once they eat more solid food they will pack on their weight.

Each day they are more alert and playful. Johanna goes in their to play with them daily, and they have a fun time together. Puppy parents have began to visit. So they have been introduced to other people than just our pack.

We will get some photos up Wednesday hopefully as well as weights. They have outgrown our scale, and our expensive scale broke. Their really isn’t any standout puppies as of yet. This litter they are pretty similar in temperament. That should change over the course of the next few weeks.

Miss Red: 4 lbs 12 oz. Still has boxiest face for girls.
